In Remembrance | A Video Letter

Recently, Jon reached out to me regarding making some kind of video. At the time I was unsure what kind of video he was looking to make. After our meeting, I was very touched to hear that he wanted to make a Video Letter / Video Poem to his late grandmother who passed away just 3 years ago today. This is something I've never done before. Granted, I felt I could tell the story. However, I thought "how can I tell this touching story without making it fake?" So I approached this as merely observing Jon visit his Grandmother's Burial Site. Other Videographers might make a super dramatic version where they want the person to cry and this that and the other. I felt this was the best way to respectfully and truthfully pay homage to Jon's Grandmother. Jon really enjoys this video and I really enjoy it as well.
