A Look at Barrington NJ's "The House of Fun"

Back on November 5th, Jerry McManus (a real estate agent with Keller Williams) invited me out to film various videos to promote small businesses. One of those businesses was The House of Fun, located in Barrington NJ off the White Horse Pike. Considering the fact that I grew up in South Jersey, I was surprised to have never heard of this place. And once I stepped inside, my younger-self definitely missed out on this hotspot!
In short, the House of Fun is a Hub for all things collectibles and comicbook-y items. Some of the various products they sell are Comic Books, Video games (vintage and new), Toys (vintage & new), Baseball cards, various films, and different collectors' items.
I got a chance to speak with the owner off camera and ask him a few questions regarding this fantastic store! My main question to Mr. Consalvi was, "What makes your store stand out from others?" He responded with a simple but effective two-worded sentence, "Our Size."
I did a double take around the store and I immediately understood what he meant. The few times I've been a Collectible Shop, I usually notice two things: They are super small and often smell of Chili. The House of Fun, on the other hand, is clean, organized, and spacious! And yes - they don't smell like Chili. When you look at the exterior of the store, it looks small, like other shops. But once you enter, it's like entering Mary Poppin's handbag; the place just keeps growing and growing the more you explore!
One of the reasons I write about this store now is that the Holiday season is upon us and this is a terrific destination for parents shopping for their kids (Maybe even for Spouses / Couples)!
