Visiting Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

From August 21st to the 28th, I was blessed enough to stay in Pigeon Forge Tennessee.

My stay overall was a great experience and this was actually the furthest I've ever been from my home state of New Jersey. I don't travel a lot and long trips away from home is a rareity (yes I made up that word haha).

Some of the highlights of the trip include: visiting the Soaky Mountains Water Park, White Water Rafting, Hiking the Smokey Mountains, Visiting the Alcatraz Crime Museum, walking around the Hollywood Wax Museum, Antiquing, and forging knives!

I'm very grateful for my Friend's Family for inviting me on their trip.

In the city of Gatlinburg, we went up to this mountain-view-top at night and what a sight! My eyes saw a beautiful scene and my camera saw a blob of black. My fellow photographers might understand my pain in trying to capture night photography. What I did here was I attached an external flash and cranked it up haha. It didn't turn out too bad.

The last thing I want to touch on in this short blog, and that was the drive to Tennessee. I have never been on a 10 hour car drive anywhere! I was a little scared but it honestly wasn't too bad! If I had to do it again, I would...just give me another year to recover haha. It really wasn't bad and if you're driving with the right people, the car ride goes by super quick. I loved being in Tennessee and I'd go back anytime!
