Emily's Trip To Johnson's Locust Hall Farm

A few weeks ago, my Wife, her friend Emily, and I took a trip to Johnson's Locust Hall Farm in Jobstown NJ to take some sunflower-themed photos. Overall the Farm was quite the sight to see. As of the time of our visit, it was home to numerous flowers, produce, and wildlife. Notably, there was what seemed to be a half an acre of just sunflowers!

Before the sunflower field we did visit the Apple Picking section of the farm. While this was not the most eye-catching field out of the bunch, it was a unique experience to hand pick apples from a tree instead of bagging them in a supermarket. Also, those apples tasted infinitely better than those you'd find at Shoprite or Aldi's.

After picking about a dozen apples we made our way to the Sunflower field. And might I say, I had no idea real sunflowers were that big! When you pay a visit to the store to buy some nice flowers for your spouse, on the shelf you see these tiny flowers that are about the size of your hand. Then, you pay a visit to a real sunflower field and some of these flowers are as big as your whole head! It's amazing to look at this World and see all the natural beauty in it from the flowers, to the trees, the sky, and beyond. It's really something else when you think about it in that way.

Otherwise, we really enjoyed our time here and we will look forward to going back next season!
